Hi guys, today I'm going to talk to you about my dream job. As you can see in the picture, what I would like to be in the future is a kindergarten educator.
Since I was 7 years old, I thought I wanted to teach. I used to see my teachers taking on great responsibility and teaching important things in their work. I think It's a beautiful profession.
I remember that when I was in kindergarten I enjoyed many things. I remember learning while playing. And I remember that my teachers were very respectful to us. They took care to us and They taught us very important things to favor our development. So, I thought that I would like to be like them.
Currently I study the career of preschool teaching. And I really love it. I've learned a lot of things I didn't know before. It's amazing to gain knowledge about children and their learning and development processes.
As a society, we generally ignore these natural processes of children and we always try to mold them into what we think is right. We try to configure them as property objects and We decide everything for them, ignoring their own opinions and thoughts.
So, I choose to change that. I want to respect children. To take care of them and give them the necessary tools so that they can grow and develop integrally in a positive environment. When I think in my dream job (hopefully future) I imagine myself teaching anywhere. I don't really care if it's outdoors or indoors. I just want to feel happy and make the children happy at the same time.
I've always thought that I would like to stay in Chile and work here. But, if I can be honest, I would really love to travel to Japan and South Korea and work there as a teacher. First (obviously), I have to learn Japanese and Korean haha. But, I think I'll make it through one day.
As for the salary, the truth is that I don't care at all. As I said before, I'm only interested in being a good teacher and giving relevance to the opinions, thoughts and feelings of the children.
And that's all for today. Thank you so much for reading me. Hope you have a nice week.
Bye and take care.
SINCE 7 Y/O ??? Wow, that's a fact I didn't know...or I don't remember, haha. I wish you the best <3
